Isaiah is a book that unveils the full dimension of God’s acts of judgment and salvation in behalf of his people. God is the Holy One of Israel who must punish his rebellious people but will afterward redeem them.
Isaiah prophesied imminent judgment – but eventual restoration – for the people of Judah and Jerusalem.
